PYPS (Primary Youth Perfoming Society

pypsAn exciting musical theatre group for children aged 4 to 11.

Every Saturday at Dean Row Community Centre. 2.30 - 3.30 pm for 4 - 7 yr olds (MiniPYPS). 4.00 - 5.30 pm for 8 to 11 yr olds(PYPS). Each group performs a winter musical in February and a summer musical in July. Auditions for the winter musical will be held in early September.

Previous shows have included the pantomimes Robin Hood, Peter Pan, Jack and the Beanstalk and Aladdin. Summer shows have included Bugsy Malone, Grease and High School Musical.

The sessions are run by an experienced director and choreographer and an experienced musical director, all CRB checked.

Performances are supported with live music, sound, lighting, wireless mic's, costumes, set, scenery and props.
